100 EXE Rise motors in own rental park

BigRig Rental GmbH from Berlin (Germany) is expanding its inventory with 100 EXE Rise chain hoists of the 500kg D8+ type.
In doing so, they relied on a state-of-the-art product that has established itself on the international market and is currently also making its mark on tours and productions in German-speaking countries.

Malte Jäger and Johannes Schau already have over 15 years of experience as rigging service providers in professional planning and execution with BigRig Berlin GmbH. With BigRig Rental GmbH, founded in 2018, the two managing directors have suitably expanded the service package to include high-quality rigging equipment.

In addition to taking over the entire rigging including planning, execution and provision of material, dry hire is also possible. The vision is to expand the position as a full-service provider for rigging and to give customers the opportunity to focus on their own core competencies such as lighting, sound or video.

The credo: "We rent what we use ourselves"

BigRig Rental GmbH attaches great importance to high-quality equipment. That's why only the equipment that our own employees want to work with every day makes it into the rental park - "Equipment from riggers for riggers", so to speak!
The motors of the EXE Rise series from the Italian manufacturer EXE Technology were specially developed for the demanding use in the entertainment and touring sector. Years of development have contributed to an extremely performance-oriented, precise and safe range of chain hoists.
The EXE Rise 500 kg D8+ chain hoists are characterized by a low self- weight of only 24 kg (plus chain with 780 gr/m) despite their small size. On only 39.8 cm x 25.4 cm at a height of 16.3 cm a gearbox with FEM class 2m finds place, whereby the machine is designed for 6,300 operating hours. The chain hoists are already equipped with rotating hooks on both sides and are considered particularly quiet with an operating noise level of 67.5dBA. Black chains are available at no extra charge. A wide range of options, such as integrated load measurement, encoders, etc., as well as extensive accessories and various types of controllers complete the EXE Technology range.

"Last year we tested and compared different motors in the 500kg range. Finally, the choice fell on the current EXE Rise 500kg D8plus engine. We were convinced by the high-quality components installed in the EXE Rise," explains Malte Jäger.
"With a powerful motor of 0.8kW at less than 45kg dead weight with 24m chain, the chain hoist has an optimal ratio between power and dead weight. With the new acquisition of the EXE Rise 500kg D8+ motors, we are expanding our extensive motor range and closing the gap between our 320kg and 1000kg D8plus motors." adds Johannes Schau.
"100 motors are a first step. If these continue to convince us, as they have so far, more will follow" concludes Malte Jäger with a smile.

BigRig is currently certifying itself as a service point for EXE Rise products. This means that the machines from their own rental fleet can always be serviced themselves. In the future, other EXE Rise users will also have a service point in Berlin and the surrounding area.
